Building on the popularity of the Original Power Rangers in 2013, the Kaleidoscope Track and Dragon Con are excited to announce our first guests for the 2014 Convention. From Power Rangers Samurai, Dragon Con welcomes Hector David, Jr. (green), Najee De-Tiege (blue), Alex Heartman (red) and Steven Skyler (gold). Power Rangers Samurai is the #1 rated live action program airing on the Nickelodeon Network. Whether they are performing a Power Rangers show or interacting with fans at a meet and greet, the Power Rangers Samurai’s main goal is to empower everyone.
Power Rangers Samurai have become involved on a personal level teaching diversity and encouraging each fan to believe that his or her future has endless opportunities if they truly dedicate and apply themselves.

Kaleidoscope Track is happy to announce that Davey Beauchamp will be returning as a guest for the KT Track.
Davey is the creator of the Writers for Relief anthology series, the Agency 32 series, the award nominated Amazing Pulp Adventures Radio Show; podcast (pulpadventures.net) along with Podcasting’s Rich Sigfrit, and Gallifrey Pirate Radio a podcast dedicated to Doctor Who (gallifreypirateradio.com).
Davey Beauchamp’s Amazing Pulp Adventures RPG presented by Scaldcrow Games (scaldcrow.com) was just released and has been an overwhelming success. He licensed the world of Amazing Pulp Adventures to Foxhammer Press for the Paradigm: Sapphire City; it is a fusion of card and board game. Currently he is working on the next book in the Davey Beauchamp’s Amazing Pulp Adventures RPG the Space Adventures of John Hawk.
Davey also writes monthly for the YA Blog – YAtopia (yatopia.blogspot.com). The new volume of Writers for Relief is currently raising money for the tornado relief effort in Oklahoma and for the deadly typhoon, which hit the Philippines. POP CULTURE A Guide to Getting Teens & Tweens to Read Through Movies, TV Shows, and Video Games is his first non-fiction book for librarians, teachers and other educators.
Davey Beauchamp has a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from UNCG and works at the Lexington Public Library in Davidson County as their Teen Specialist and Technology Guru.
Mr. Beauchamp is a long time supporter and advocate for the Kaleidoscope Track and we look forward to working with him in 2014.

Kaleidoscope Track is proud to welcome four guests from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Robert Axelrod is a busy voice over artist, most s recognizable Lord Zedd and Finster on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. As Lord Zedd, he starred in both the first Power Rangers feature film and the wildly popular live show that toured the country. Axelrod has appeared in more than thirty feature films the Sci-Fi hit remake of The Blob with Kevin Dillon and has acted alongside iconic actors such as Charles Bronson. His latest acting endeavor is the soon-to-be-released horror dark comedy, The Revenant.
Jason David Frank is best known for his role as Tommy Oliver in the long-running TV show Power Rangers. Frank morphed into a series of different rangers over the years: Mighty Morphin’ Green and White, Red Zeo, Red Turbo and then returned in 2004 as the Black Dino Thunder Ranger. All in all, “Tommy” appeared in more episodes than any other character, 225 in total, and appeared in both full-length movies, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie (1995) and Turbo (1997).
Walter Jones played the character of Zack Taylor, the original Black Ranger in the Power Rangers universe. Jones returned to Power Rangers in the 1999 Lost Galaxy season in the episode “Dream Battle,” and in the 2002 Power Rangers: Wild Force season episode “Forever Red” in which many previous Red Rangers teamed up. Jones also appeared as a special commentators, along with fellow co-star Amy Jo Johnson, on the 1993 episode of I Love the ’90s, and reunited with Austin St. John as co-host for a special airing of the original pilot episode of Power Rangers called “The Lost Episode”.
Karan Ashley’s career has spanned more than 20 years as an actress, singer, radio show host, reality star, writer and TV and film producer. Ashley played the role of Aisha the Yellow Power Ranger on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. She appeared in over 80 episodes and starred in the hit movie Power Rangers the Movie that was released by 20th Century Fox.

Kaleidoscope fans will know Kelly Hu as the voice of Stacy on the Disney Channel’s animated series Phineas and Ferb. Born in Honolulu of Chinese, Hawaiian, and English ancestry, Kelly Hu always wanted to be an actress. She is a former Miss Teen USA and modeled in Japan and Italy for several months before deciding to relocate to L.A. and try her hand at show business.
Ms. Hu currently portrays the voices of the character Cheshire Cat on the Cartoon Network’s series Young Justice and appears China White, a recurring character on the CW series Arrow. She previously appeared as Pearl on the hit series Vampire Diaries and as Laura Hill on the hit series Hawaii 5-0.

Bryan Young is a novelist, comics writer, filmmaker, and columnist. He’s produced films for The Disinformation Company, written comics for Image Comics, and Slave Labor Graphics, written bestselling genre novels, and writes for Huffington Post, StarWars.Com, and Big Shiny Robot! Kaleidoscope Track is happy to announce that Janine K. Spendlove will be returning as a guest for the KT Track. KT fans will remember Janine from the 2012 panels Geeks Rule!, Read-a-Likes, Phineas and Ferb Uncovered, Girlz Rule and Bad Boys! Bad Girls!.
Janine K. Spendlove is a KC-130 pilot in the United States Marine Corps. Her bestselling first novel, War of the Seasons, Book One: The Human, was published in June 2011 and her next novel, War of the Seasons, Book Two: The Half-blood, was released in June 2012. She’s also had several short stories published in various anthologies. A graduate from Brigham Young University in 1999 with a BA in History Teaching, she is an avid runner, enjoys knitting, playing Beatles tunes on her guitar, and spending time with her family.
